Sprint lock
Connector pin with sprint lock can be used together with support anchors or sandwich lattice girders when connecting two concrete slabs in to a concrete sandwich element.
The connector pins are made out of cold drawn stainless wire EN 1.4301 or stainless acid proof wire EN 1.4401. After the cold drawing process the tensile strength of the wire is ƒyk ≥ 700 MPa.
Connector pin – sprint lock is made with wire diameter 4 and 5 mm. In addition to the standard range below, additional lengths can be manufactured on demand.
Installation
The connector pin is installed with it’s seat facing downwards in the casting bed by slipping it through the reinforcement mesh and finally locked in place with a sprint.
